Karen (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist with 12 years experience working as a therapist in community mental health, after graduating with her Masters in Social Work in 2012. Karen is the practice owner and therapist at Here With You Therapy, which was founded in 2023. Karen has an eclectic, person-centered approach to therapy, with specializations in traumatic grief, expressive arts and complex trauma. Karen chose the name "Here With You Therapy" to represent the meaningful impact of compassionate presence and intersubjective connection within the therapy room, where clients are seen, valued and honored for who they are, in their authenticity and humanity. Karen is a certified provider of Compassionate Bereavement Care® and is passionate about offering a healing and heartful space for grievers. Karen is a certified developmental trauma therapist under the NeuroAffective Relational Model, providing top-down (mind) and bottom-up (somatic) trauma therapy for CPTSD and attachment trauma. Karen is a neurodivergent and queer therapist who has niches in providing therapy for the LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, ethically non-monogamous and non-traditional communities. She currently has openings for individual therapy for adults 18+. Here With You Therapy strives to cultivate a safe and secure therapy environment for all humans. Please note that Here With You Therapy services only accepts private pay at this time and does not accept insurance. The standard private pay rate per session is $150 per 60 minutes. Discounted options may be available for clients in financial hardship. Superbills are available for clients with out-of-network benefits.
